Our Story

One of the many characteristics that sets Runk & Pratt apart from others is its local owners.  Founders, Brian and Vickie Runk and Dr. Norman and Linda Pratt, experience their daily lives in the Lynchburg community.  They understand the culture, the needs and the desires of people in this area.  They also understand that caring for seniors goes much deeper than mere physical care and their consistent involvement in each of their communities gives Runk & Pratt a personal touch that enriches the lives of the residents every day.

In October, Runk & Pratt celebrated it’s 20 year anniversary of sharing life with hundreds of seniors in Southwest Virginia.  From assisted living in Lynchburg to memory care in Forest to independent, memory & assisted living at Smith Mountain Lake, Runk & Pratt is committed to continuing their tradition of excellence for another 20 years!
